This lotus is of a large variety that could grow to over 6 ft tall. It has a beautiful pink flower with a deep rose vein on the first day, the flower fading to light pink 
 
Lotus tubers for planting are available for sale between August and October. Lotus plants require full sun and regular feeding to flower. The plant will generally produce flowers from December through to February (depending on when you potted them).
